This is solely marketed at the hardcore gym goers, there is nothing pharmaceutical looking about this, it almost looks illegal an whilst it does say on the label that it is suitable for men and women, it is most likely men who will reach out for this to ensure their abs are visible. It s great to see the ‘jitter reduction technology’ marker, obviously a quality product.
Green Tea Extract – Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese. Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect.
L-carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes. It is a very popular supplement and widely proven to be active drugs for the therapy of symptoms associated with male aging. Any fat loss tends to be associated with the extra energy provided by this compound which in turn increases exercise. However, any other real fat reduction seems to be limited to elderly people.
Cayenne Pepper – The hot and spicy taste of cayenne pepper comes from capsaicin, a compound found in many hot peppers. Capsaicin is known to boost metabolism, causing the body to produce extra heat and burn more calories for fuel.
Black Pepper (Bioperine) – This helps the absorption of other ingredients in supplements.
Caffeine Anhydrous – The purest form of caffeine available. It stimulates the central nervous system (CNS), heart, muscles, and the centers that control blood pressure to give you an extra boost and hit that PB.
Theacrine (1,3,7,9-tetramethyluric acid) – An alkaloid molecule which can be seen as a structurally modified version of caffeine. However, although it is similar to caffeine whereby is a sedative effect at relatively low doses, but where this sedative effect with caffeine is at an impractically low dose with theacrine it is the dose normally consumed by tea.
DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) – DMAE is a compound that is known as a mind health compound. It does this by reducing buildup of what is known as the ‘age pigment’, which impairs cognitive function and is implicated in the cognitive decline with age. It can also increase levels of the compound involved with memory, acetylcholine.
Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium) – At present, Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra. However, more studies are needed to establish this definitively and it could be unsafe when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss. Bitter orange, particularly when taken with stimulants such as caffeine or caffeine-containing herbs, increases the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects.
Yohimbe – Related to Yohimbine, Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant and used to increase fat loss as well as assist with erectile dysfunction.
2 tablets per day.
This has a good number of effective ingredients present, in fact most of them will either stimulate fat burner either through thermogenic increases whereby your core temperature is raised and in turn you metabolism increases or by stimulation which will provide you with more energy to urge you to get to the gym or do some exercise. There are also a couple of ingredients which help with cognitive activity whereby it can assist with memory or brain performance.
This is essentially one large proprietary blend and proprietary blends mask the exact ingredient content of each ingredient. Therefore the manufacturer could only be providing trace amounts which will be no good whatsoever.
With that in mind it is also worth mentioning that there is a really low daily dose, we are instructed to take 2 tablets as a maximum, however, 1 could be sufficient, yet this would be a measly 721mg; much less than competitors. In addition, just 1 or 2 tablets will not provide your body with a continuous supply of nutrients for the body to utilize or benefit from. An optimal amount would be 4 tablets spread over the course of a day.
Not every ingredient is focused on weight loss or fat burn, so to have ingredients that assist with cognitive function instead of burning fat seems a waste.
Including a potentially unsafe ingredient such as bitter orange is deemed irresponsible.
Theacrine isn’t a very usable ingredient in these doses or weight ranges.
There is much less caffeine and green tea here than in the best fat burner on the market.
My Review Conclusion:
Instead of being solely focused as a fat burning supplement, the manufacturers have gone a bit leftfield and included cognitive ingredients whereas we would be more concerned of getting the job done rather than transgressing into other fields.
With the proprietary blend, real lack of content and the few either unsafe ingredients or ineffective it makes you wonder why you would overlooks something else for this product.
It would help if the dose of green tea and caffeine was tripled at least or quadrupled to be sure.
This doesn’t quite reach the heady levels of the #1 fat burner on the market today.
