Zen Wise Labs Green Tea Extract Supplement Fat Burner Review

2star

Initial Thoughts:

This has a very natural ‘feel’ and look to it, green labels somehow seem to do that, a bit like red is associated with Christmas.  There looks to be no artificial ingredients or chemicals so there should be no worries or concerns on that front.

Vitamin C – Individuals with adequate vitamin C status oxidize 30% more fat during a moderate exercise bout than individuals with low vitamin C status; thus, vitamin C depleted individuals may be more resistant to fat mass loss.

Green Tea Extract – Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese. Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect.

Instructions:

2 pills per day. This limits the use of the ingredients. 4 pills per day is ideal. 2 Pills per day provide you with 60mg of Vitamin C and 725mg of Green Tea.

Good:

All natural ingredients that are safe and common place.

The antioxidant effects of polyphenols found in green tea seem to be greater than vitamin C.

Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese.

Vitamin C is one of many antioxidants that can protect against damage caused by harmful molecules called free radicals, as well as toxic chemicals and pollutants like cigarette smoke. Free radicals can build up and contribute to the development of health conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and arthritis.

Bad:

Green tea is particularly effective for weight loss in conjunction with caffeine, but this is decaffeinated.

There’s almost as much green tea in other fat burner products but this product doesn’t contain the whole host of other beneficial ingredients for maximum fat burn.

It is recommended that you have 100mg to 750mg per day of green tea, if you have 2 servings of this (as per the instructions) you are doubling the recommended daily allowance from scientists.

My Review Conclusion:

Okay, this product is not bad by any stretch of the imagination but you are getting very little more than what you would get in a few cups of green tea daily.

The problem is that there’s very little else to help maximize fat burning as you would find in other good fat burning products so you are missing out somewhat if you overlook those for this.

My score:

2/5
